What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"I used this setup while working on my skating technique on a groomed sport track, and the wider tip and tail made balance feel almost automatic compared to my old gear. The boots stayed comfortable the entire session, which let me focus on form instead of just staying upright."Learning to skate ski asks a lot of a beginner, mostly patience, but the Atomic Pro Skate Gen S Medium Ski Package w/ Poles takes some of that pressure off from the very first push. Head out onto a flat, groomed track built for practicing technique, push off into a stride, and feel the ski hold its line steady instead of wobbling underneath you. Each push builds a little more confidence than the last. That stability starts with the ski itself. A wider tip and tail add balance right where new skaters need it most, while a shorter overall geometry keeps control easy without sacrificing speed as technique improves. A double grooved base steadies steering through every push, and the Shift Skate binding comes mounted and ready to go. Round out the setup with a boot built for comfort over long sessions and a lightweight carbon pole that keeps the arms fresh, and the whole system is built to help new skaters improve faster with less time spent just staying upright.
