Winchester Xpert Features The Winchester Xpert pairs a durable steel receiver with a precision button-rifled barrel at a 1:9 twist rate tuned for the high-velocity .17 WSM cartridge and its flat trajectory on distant targets. The Bentz-style chamber and target crown work together to improve accuracy and consistency shot to shot while the drilled and tapped receiver lets shooters add a scope for extended-range varmint work without sending the rifle out for gunsmithing. The three-lever adjustable Rimfire M.O.A. Trigger gives shooters fine control over pull weight letting them tune the break to their preference and improve shot placement on small game. An included ramped post front sight and adjustable rear sight provide a reliable backup aiming solution even without glass mounted and the extended bolt handle offers a sure grip for fast positive cycling between shots on running varmints. The molded gray polymer stock is finished in TrueTimber Strata camouflage helping hunters stay concealed across a range of terrain and seasons from brushy fence lines to open fields. Front and rear sling eyelets make the rifle easy to carry on long walks between shooting positions an important convenience on all-day varmint outings. The ambidextrous magazine release accessible via side-mounted rails or a release tab speeds up reloads for both left- and right-handed shooters without changing their grip on the stock. At just 4.5 lbs the Xpert is light enough for all-day carry while its rotary magazine and 10/22-pattern compatibility keep aftermarket stock trigger and magazine options open giving shooters room to customize the platform as their needs evolve.
