Savage Arms Stevens 334 Features The Savage Arms Stevens 334 centers on a free-floating button-rifled barrel that keeps the bore isolated from stock pressure for more consistent point-of-impact shot after shot. The 11-degree target crown protects the rifling at the muzzle helping preserve accuracy over the rifle s service life. A 60-degree bolt lift shortens the distance the bolt handle travels speeding up cycling between shots and making it easier to run the action quickly during follow-up opportunities in the field. The three-locking-lug bolt design adds strength and a secure lockup for reliably chambering the .30-06 Springfield cartridge round after round. Ergonomically the Stevens 334 pairs a matte black synthetic stock with an ergonomic recoil pad that softens felt recoil from full-power .30-06 loads during extended range sessions or hunts. The 3-position safety gives shooters straightforward tactile control over the rifle s readiness state and two sling swivel studs allow a sling to be attached for easier carry in the field. A 3-round detachable box magazine speeds reloads compared to a fixed magazine letting hunters top off quickly between shots. At 7.61 lbs with a 14.5 length of pull the Stevens 334 offers a well-balanced field-ready rifle for hunters and shooters looking for dependable performance at GrabAGun.
