Howa M1500 Super Lite Gen2 Features The Howa M1500 Super Lite Gen2 is chambered in 7mm-08 Rem and built around a 16.25 inch barrel giving hunters a shorter more maneuverable rifle well suited to still hunting in thick cover and tight terrain where a long barrel becomes a liability. The 1/2x28 threaded muzzle makes the rifle suppressor ready letting hunters add a can for a quieter lower-recoil shooting experience that keeps follow-up shots fast and comfortable. A 2-stage match trigger delivers a light take-up followed by a crisp predictable break improving precision on the shot that matters most in the field. Howa backs the rifle with a sub-MOA accuracy guarantee reflecting the confidence built into the machined receiver and forged bolt that anchor this action. The HS Precision stock in Gray finishes out this Gen2 Super Lite with a lightweight rigid platform that resists warping in changing field conditions and keeps the rifle s overall weight down for long days on foot. A flush detachable magazine holding 4 rounds allows quick safe reloading and unloading without cycling the action a real advantage when a hunt demands fast follow-up shots or a safe unload before camp. The reliable M-16 style extractor and ejector along with a large integral front barrel lug contribute to consistent function shot after shot across a range of field conditions. Backed by Howa s lifetime warranty and tool-less firing pin removal for easy maintenance this rifle is built for hunters who want dependable accuracy in a lightweight suppressor-ready package they can rely on season after season.
