Howa Mini Action Carbon Features The Howa Mini Action Carbon is built on a shortened action and bolt scaled specifically to the .22 ARC cartridge which reduces overall length and weight compared to a standard-length action without sacrificing the precision Howa actions are known for. The carbon fiber barrel keeps weight forward mass to a minimum while a 1:7 twist rate stabilizes the heavier bullet weights favored in .22 ARC for extended range performance. A 5/8x24 threaded muzzle makes the rifle suppressor ready from the factory giving shooters an easy path to add a can without additional gunsmithing. The HACT two-stage trigger provides a defined take-up stage followed by a clean break giving the shooter a consistent predictable trigger pull shot after shot. The black synthetic stock is paired with a Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad that helps absorb felt recoil during extended range sessions. A three-position safety gives the shooter a familiar reliable manual of arms and the steel receiver is drilled and tapped for straightforward optics mounting. The rifle feeds from a detachable box magazine holding five rounds and sling swivel studs are included for use with a standard carry sling. For shooters looking for an accurate affordable bolt-action rifle built specifically around the .22 ARC cartridge the Mini Action Carbon delivers a genuinely purpose-built platform.
