Howa Carbon Stalker 2 Features The Howa Carbon Stalker 2 pairs a cold hammer forged .270 Win barrel with a 1:10 twist rate to deliver the accuracy backing Howa s sub-MOA guarantee. At 22 in length and threaded 1/2x28 the barrel is suppressor ready out of the box letting hunters add a can without a trip to a gunsmith. The large integral bolt handle gives a secure confident grip for fast cycling between shots which matters when a follow up shot counts in the field. A 3-position safety and a hinged floorplate magazine round out a receiver that is drilled and tapped for scope mounting so glassing up the rifle is straightforward. Wrapped in a carbon fiber stock and finished in Tungsten Cerakote the Howa Carbon Stalker 2 is built to handle the weather exposure that comes with serious hunting trips. The carbon fiber wrap sheds weight compared to a traditional stock while adding rigidity that helps the rifle hold its accuracy shot after shot. The HACT trigger is user adjustable letting shooters tune the pull to their preference rather than living with a factory-set break. A black rubber recoil pad softens felt recoil on the shoulder and the rifle s 41.5 overall length and 6.31 lb weight keep it manageable to carry across long days afield making this Howa a strong choice for hunters chasing big game at distance.
