Howa 1500 Hogue Features The Howa 1500 Hogue is built around a cold hammer forged threaded 24 inch barrel chambered in 25 Creedmoor with a 1:7.5 twist rate suited to the cartridge s common bullet weights. The HACT two-stage trigger offers a crisp consistent break while the forged steel bolt and reliable M-16 style extractor and ejector contribute to smooth dependable cycling. A three-position safety gives shooters flexibility to load and unload the rifle safely while keeping the bolt locked when needed. The receiver is drilled and tapped and finished in matte blue ready to accept scope bases for mounting optics suited to the rifle s accuracy potential. The Hogue Overmolded stock is pillar bedded to the action delivering a stable consistent bedding surface that helps the rifle shoot sub-MOA three shot groups at 100 yards with premium factory ammunition. Finished in Green the stock offers a durable non-slip overmold surface along with a recoil pad for comfortable shooting. Sling swivel studs are built in for easy attachment of a sling and the tool-less firing pin removal design simplifies maintenance in the field. At 6.8 lbs and chambered in 25 Creedmoor the Howa 1500 Hogue is for sale at GrabAGun for hunters and entry-level precision shooters who want accuracy and reliability without a premium price tag.
