Howa 1500 Mini Action Features The Howa 1500 Mini Action is chambered in 6mm ARC a compact efficient cartridge well suited to the shorter mini action platform for a lighter more maneuverable rifle. The 20 carbon fiber threaded barrel combines the strength of a traditional steel barrel with reduced weight and improved heat dissipation both benefits for shooters carrying the rifle over long distances. A black finished steel receiver is drilled and tapped for scope mounts giving shooters a solid base for mounting optics suited to precision work. The 1/2x28 threaded muzzle accepts a wide range of muzzle devices for recoil management or suppressor use. A two stage match trigger provides a light predictable break that helps shooters execute precise shots consistently while a three position safety offers flexible control over the rifle s readiness state. The fixed HTI synthetic stock finished in green is built for durability against rough handling and exposure to the elements in the field. At 7.14 lbs and 39.50 overall the rifle balances a manageable weight with enough length for stability during precision shooting.
