Federal Upland Paper Features The Federal Premium Upland Paper shotshell uses an exclusive waxed paper hull that recreates the look feel and even the smell of classic upland shotshells from decades past. Inside that hull is a payload of extra hard copper plated lead shot in #4 chosen for its ability to retain energy and pattern well on pheasants and other tough upland birds. A wad column specially designed for these classic components ensures consistent pattern performance despite the traditional hull material. This blend of nostalgic construction and modern components gives hunters a shell that performs as well as it looks. Select high quality propellant and a reliable 209 primer provide efficient ignition and consistent velocity at a rated 1250 feet per second. With 135 pellets in each 1 ounce payload this shell offers dense effective patterns at typical upland hunting ranges. Packaged 25 rounds to a box it gives hunters a practical supply for a day in the field chasing pheasant grouse or quail. This Upland Paper load lets hunters enjoy a classic shooting experience without giving up dependable modern performance.
