"On® Lightspray Cloudboom Strike 2: The On Lightspray Cloudboom Strike 2 is a neutral road racing shoe built for serious marathon runners and competitive athletes who want a lightweight, responsive ride on race day. At 5.8 ounces with a 39mm heel and 34mm forefoot stack, it sits in that rare space where cushioning and low weight coexist - giving you enough underfoot protection for long-distance racing without the bulk that slows you down. If you're chasing a PR or simply want a shoe that keeps up with your fastest efforts, this is worth a close look. The performance comes from a combination of technologies that each do a specific job. The Helion™ HF midsole is 15% lighter and 6% more resilient than its predecessor, so the foam absorbs impact and returns energy efficiently over the full marathon distance. The full carbon fiber speedboard channels that energy forward, making heel-to-toe transitions feel quick and purposeful. CloudTec® Sphere cushioning in the forefoot expands in multiple directions as you move, which adds comfort during the later miles when your feet need it most. The LightSpray™ upper - made in Switzerland - wraps the foot with a seamless, adaptive fit and an improved heel pattern that keeps your foot locked in without feeling restrictive. A carbon nanotube rubber outsole rounds things out with traction you can trust on road surfaces. Why Our Fit Experts Love This Shoe""I wore the Lightspray Cloudboom Strike 2 during a hard tempo run and the heel lockdown was immediately noticeable - no slipping, no distraction, just running. The carbon speedboard really does push you through each stride, and the forefoot cushioning held up well into the back half of the effort."" - Hallie, Road Runner Sports Fit Expert, Phoenix AZWho It's Best ForIf you're a neutral runner training for a marathon or targeting a fast road race, the Lightspray Cloudboom Strike 2 is built around what you need - low weight, responsive cushioning, and a fit that stays secure when the pace picks up.
