"Men's On® Cloudboom Strike: The Men's On Cloudboom Strike is a neutral road racing shoe built for runners who want max cushioning and serious speed underfoot. At 7.6 ounces with a 4 mm heel-to-toe drop, it sits low to the ground and moves with you, making it a strong choice for marathon and half-marathon efforts where every mile matters. The thin, semi-transparent mesh upper keeps things light and breathable without sacrificing the secure fit you need when the pace picks up.Under the foot, a full carbon Speedboard® drives propulsion through each stride, while Helion™ HF hyper foam adds rebound so the shoe stays lively deep into a race. Redefined CloudTech® technology smooths out the transitions between landing and toe-off, reducing impact without killing momentum. A dropped-in midsole construction wraps the foot securely, so the shoe feels locked in rather than just strapped on. If you want a max-cushion racing shoe that doesn't feel heavy or sluggish, the Cloudboom Strike is worth a serious look. Why Our Fit Experts Love This Shoe""I put these on before a marathon-pace workout and noticed right away how the carbon Speedboard keeps the stride snappy even when the cushioning is this generous. The mesh upper is almost paper-thin, but the dropped-in midsole makes the fit feel really dialed in - not sloppy at all. These are the kind of shoes that make a hard effort feel a little more manageable."" - Michael, Road Runner Sports Fit Expert, Seattle WAWho It's Best ForIf you're a neutral runner training for a marathon or half-marathon and want a max-cushion racing shoe that still has real energy return, the Cloudboom Strike is worth considering.
