What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"I grabbed the Columbia PFG Solar Stream II Hoodie for my kid before a fishing trip where I knew we'd be on an exposed lake for most of the day with almost no shade. The broad-spectrum UPF 50 Air Flow construction meant I wasn't hovering over them with sunscreen every hour, and they stayed comfortable enough to stay focused on actually fishing rather than complaining about the heat."Getting kids excited about a day on the water is the easy part. Keeping them comfortable enough to stay out there once the sun climbs and the shade disappears is the real challenge, and the Columbia PFG Solar Stream II Hoodie is built to solve exactly that. Broad-spectrum Omni-Shade Air Flow UPF 50 protection blocks a wide range of UV rays while the open, breathable construction keeps hot and muggy conditions from turning a great fishing day into a short one. Columbia's Omni-Wick pulls sweat away from skin quickly and moves it out through the fabric, so young anglers stay dry and comfortable through the kind of active, fidgety hours that come with a full day outside. The lightweight feel means they will barely notice they have it on, which is exactly the point. Less fussing with gear, more time with a line in the water.
