The Caribou knife uses the same great profile design as the popular Light Hunter, but is made from .100" thick, rather than .250" D2 Steel. Made from the same premium edge-holding D2 steel, now with a much sharper and longer lasting edge on both the gut hook and main edge. Since it is thinner, it costs a lot less than the Light Hunter. The Caribou Combination knife set is paired with the Cub Bear Caping Knife. The Bear Cub is lightweight and designed for fine detail work. Field-tested alongside the Skinner/Cleavers in the Alaskan bush, the Cub Bear's overall length is 6-1/2" with a cutting edge of 2-3/4". This blade is ideal for fine caping. The Caribou Combination includes a leather sheath for securing both knives.
