"Mizuno® Wave Prophecy 15: The Wave Prophecy 15 is a highly cushioned running shoe built for runners who want serious protection underfoot on every mile. Featuring the fifth-generation Infinity Wave Plate, this version delivers over 20% more cushioning in the forefoot and heel compared to its predecessor - without sacrificing the durability the Wave Prophecy line is known for. It's a strong choice for runners with larger builds or heavier weights who need a shoe that can absorb and disperse impact consistently over time. Available in a unisex fit, it runs up a half size, so keep that in mind when selecting your size. The Infinity Wave Plate sits at the heart of this shoe, working to absorb and disperse impact at foot strike across a broader area for a stable, cushioned ride. The U4icX Strobel Lasting Board adds a comfortable underfoot feel from the first step, while the breathable upper includes an integrated stabilizer to keep your foot secure without feeling locked down. Underfoot, the X10 carbon rubber outsole is built to handle the wear that comes with regular road running, so the shoe holds up over the long haul. Mizuno also incorporated recycled materials into the construction, making this a more eco-conscious option for runners who care about sustainability. Why Our Fit Experts Love This Shoe""I put these on a runner who logs a lot of miles and carries a bigger frame - he came back saying it was the most supported he'd felt in a long time. The Infinity Wave really does make a difference when you're on your feet for a while. The cushioning feels substantial without making the shoe feel heavy or sloppy."" - Sawyer, Road Runner Sports Fit Expert, Wilmette ILWho It's Best ForIf you're a runner who prioritizes cushioning and durability over a lightweight, stripped-down ride, the Wave Prophecy 15 is worth a serious look.
