"Men's Saucony® Endorphin Speed 5: If you want a running shoe that can handle tempo runs and race day without making you choose between speed and cushioning, the Men's Saucony Endorphin Speed 5 is worth a serious look. It's a neutral running shoe with max cushioning underfoot, so you get a soft, smooth ride whether you're logging training miles or pushing the pace. At 8.3 oz and an 8 mm heel-to-toe drop, it sits in a sweet spot that feels fast without feeling stripped down.Under the foot, PWRRUN PB foam keeps the ride light and responsive - cushioned enough for longer efforts, but with enough energy return to keep your turnover feeling quick. A Nylon Plate works with SpeedRoll technology to encourage forward momentum through each stride, so the shoe naturally wants to move with you rather than slow you down. The XT-900 carbon rubber outsole adds grip and durability where you need it most, and the engineered mesh upper lets airflow move through the shoe to keep things comfortable when the effort climbs. Why Our Fit Experts Love This Shoe""I put these on for a tempo run and noticed right away how the shoe just rolls you forward - it doesn't feel like you're fighting it. The cushioning is there when you land, but it doesn't feel slow or heavy. For runners who want one shoe that works for both hard training days and race day, this one makes a lot of sense."" - Dave, Road Runner Sports Fit Expert, San Diego, CAWho It's Best ForIf you're a neutral runner who wants a max-cushioned shoe that can keep up on faster days, the Endorphin Speed 5 is a strong fit. It works well for tempo runs, road racing, and longer training efforts where you want cushioning without sacrificing a responsive, forward-moving ride. Runners who like a shoe that feels energetic rather than just soft will appreciate how the PWRRUN PB foam and SpeedRoll geometry work together.
