"Men's Saucony® Ride 19: The Men's Saucony Ride 19 is a neutral daily training shoe built for runners who want a cushioned, responsive ride they can count on mile after mile. Whether you're logging easy miles, grinding through a long run, or putting in recovery work, the Ride 19 keeps things comfortable and smooth without feeling heavy or sluggish. At 8.9 ounces with an 8 mm heel-to-toe drop, it sits in that mid-cushion sweet spot - soft enough to take the edge off hard pavement, springy enough to keep your stride feeling alive. The PWRRUN+ midsole is the engine here, offering cushioning that absorbs impact on landing and rebounds as you push off. A breathable mesh upper flexes with your foot as your stride changes, so the fit feels natural rather than restrictive. Flex grooves in the outsole help the shoe move through heel-to-toe transitions without any awkward resistance, and rocker-inspired geometry keeps the ride feeling efficient. Increased rubber coverage in the outsole adds durability and grip, so the shoe holds up over the long haul. If you want a daily trainer that feels good from the first mile to the last, the Ride 19 is a solid choice. Why Our Fit Experts Love This Shoe""I put the Ride 19 on for a longer easy run and the cushioning really showed up in the back half - my legs felt noticeably less beat up than usual. The mesh upper has a relaxed, flexible feel that doesn't squeeze or shift, and the transitions are just smooth. It's the kind of shoe you stop thinking about after the first mile, which is exactly what you want on a long run."" - Dave, Road Runner Sports Fit Expert, San Diego, CAWho It's Best ForIf you're a neutral runner looking for a reliable daily trainer that handles everything from easy recovery runs to longer efforts, the Ride 19 is worth a serious look. It's a strong fit for runners who want mid-level cushioning with a responsive feel - not a maximalist shoe, but not a stripped-down racer either.
