"Men's Nike® Free Metcon 6: If you train hard across a mix of movements - squats, sprints, jumps, and lifts - the Men's Nike® Free Metcon 6 is a cross-training shoe built to keep up. It's comfortable enough to wear through a full session and stable enough to handle the variety that comes with gym-based workouts and functional fitness training. The engineered mesh upper keeps airflow moving through the shoe during high-intensity work, so your feet stay cooler when things heat up. Laser Siped construction in the outsole flexes with your movements and gives the shoe a responsive feel underfoot, whether you're pushing through a set of deadlifts or moving laterally through agility drills. Flywire lacing lets you dial in the fit around your midfoot, so the shoe feels secure without being restrictive. The traction pattern is designed to handle the varied surfaces and movements that come with cross-training - giving you grip whether you're on rubber flooring, turf, or gym mats. A bootie construction wraps the ankle for added support during deep squats and dynamic movements. Sizing runs up half a size, so consider sizing down for your best fit.Why Our Fit Experts Love This Shoe""I put these on for a circuit session and noticed right away how well they hold up during lateral moves - the Flywire lacing keeps things locked in without feeling tight. They're comfortable enough that I forgot I was wearing a training shoe, which is honestly what you want when you're moving through a lot of different exercises."" - Dave, Road Runner Sports Fit Expert, San Diego, CAWho It's Best ForIf you spend most of your gym time mixing strength work with conditioning - think squats, box jumps, sled pushes, and sprint intervals - the Free Metcon 6 is worth a look.
