Walter Stern Shallow Form Watch Glasses. Watch glasses exhibit a "full-bodied" optical quality that allows for a sharp unerring focus without sacrificing on-axis stability. Timepieces placed on the outside of the glass easily accommodate standard barbed needles rods and slides. When inserting slides or other objects from the outside of the glass one or both slides must be removed. Pieces can then be stacked together for efficient space utilization. These glasses are not recommended for use with optical equipment such as those used for Time-Piece Dura-Touch paper tape or the Walter Stern hard-to-clean E-Series.
