Walter Stern Shallow Form Watch Glasses. Watch glasses are supplied with flat flanged base discs to allow for varied curvitures of the perimeter. Flat bottoms admit large amounts of water for effective cooling without forming a dangerous accumulation of debris which could contaminate a liquid sample. The funnel-shaped indentation at the upper side of each glass helps prevent liquid from forming on the bottom of the watch. The stems are thicker on the smaller sizes allowing for excellent gas flow. Large lip diameters facilitate filling with water or dry powder. The all-glass construction is without a marking area. Graduations graduations and markings on each glass are clearly molded into the outside of the tube. Large frosted writing scales are molded onto the side of each glass.
