Caldwell XLA HD Features The Caldwell XLA HD Pivot Bipod uses an improved frame and leg design built with heavier gauge materials resulting in a bipod rated over 300 percent stronger than similar designs on the market. Legs deploy quickly to preset height notches ranging from 6 to 9 inches and retract instantly with the push of a button keeping transitions between shooting positions fast. The pivoting frame delivers 20 degrees of cant adjustment for stable shooting on uneven ground and a quick tensioning lever locks the bipod level once the shooter finds the right position. This combination of strength and speed suits heavy rifles that would overwhelm lighter bipod designs. Built from aluminum with an M-LOK attachment interface the XLA HD mounts directly to compatible handguards without needing an adapter rail. Interchangeable feet including the included non-slip rubber feet let shooters adapt the bipod s grip to different surfaces from concrete to soft ground. The 6 to 9 inch height range is ideal for shooting prone or from a bench covering the most common field and range positions. Shooters running heavy bolt guns or precision rifles will find the XLA HD a dependable rugged support built for conditions that fold lesser bipods.
