Caldwell AR500 Dueling Tree Features The Caldwell AR500 Dueling Tree is built around six 6 inch diameter plates that pivot from side to side of the center post whenever struck creating instant auto-resetting feedback for competitive dueling tree games or solo practice. The plates and center post are both constructed from 3/8 inch thick AR500 steel a rifle-rated material capable of handling repeated impacts from handguns and centerfire rifles alike. A unique two-piece center post and plate hanger design is engineered to withstand bullet impacts over a long service life without failing at the welds or pivot points. The system is rated for handgun use at 10 yards .223 Rem at 100 yards with velocities of 2700 to 2900 fps and .308 Win at 200 yards with velocities of 2200 to 2500 fps. An adjustable base lets shooters set up the dueling tree reliably even on uneven terrain while also allowing the target angle to be tuned for different impact energies and distances. Standing 54 inches tall with a stable footprint the target is sized to be visible and engaging from typical range distances. Finished in black with yellow gong-style target faces the Dueling Tree stands out clearly against most range backgrounds for easy visual confirmation of hits. Built for shooters who want a competitive durable steel target the Caldwell AR500 Dueling Tree is available for sale at GrabAGun.
