Checkmate 1911 Compact Magazine Features The Check-Mate 1911 Compact Magazine is built from steel for the strength and durability that 1911 shooters expect from a quality magazine standing up to repeated loading and firing cycles without losing reliability. Holding 7 rounds of .45 ACP it is sized specifically for compact 1911 pistols matching the shorter grip frame found on that class of gun. The Black finish resists wear from holster carry and range use while keeping a clean factory-matched look alongside most compact 1911 pistols. Made in the USA the magazine is manufactured to the tight tolerances that reliable 1911 feeding depends on. A properly fitted magazine is critical to a 1911 s reliability and this Check-Mate magazine is built to the compact frame s specific geometry rather than a one-size-fits-all design. That precision fit helps ensure smooth feeding and consistent slide lock-back when the magazine runs empty. Steel construction also means the magazine resists the wear and flex that can affect lower-quality alternatives over time. For compact 1911 owners who want a dependable spare or a replacement for a worn factory magazine this Check-Mate magazine is a solid no-frills choice.
