Check-Mate 1911 Sub Compact Magazine Features The Check-Mate 1911 Sub Compact Magazine is built from steel for long-term durability standing up to repeated loading unloading and holster carry without the flex or wear that a lesser magazine body can develop over time. Its 6-round capacity is matched precisely to the shorter grip frame of a sub-compact 1911 chambered in .45 ACP so it seats flush and feeds reliably without protruding awkwardly below the frame. The black finish resists corrosion and handling wear keeping the magazine functional through repeated range sessions and daily carry. Consistent feed lips and a properly tensioned spring are essential on a compact magazine and this design is built to keep rounds feeding straight into the chamber. Made in the USA this magazine is manufactured to the tight tolerances a defensive or range 1911 owner expects from a factory-pattern replacement part. It is a straightforward drop-in fit for sub-compact 1911 pistols making it easy to keep a spare on hand for backup carry or extended range trips. Steel construction means the magazine body holds its shape under spring tension over years of use unlike lighter alternatives that can deform. For any 1911 owner running a 3 inch sub-compact frame this Check-Mate magazine is a reliable way to add redundancy to a carry or range setup.
