The overall length of this 66 caliber percussion smooth bore Nepalese-made Brunswick type musket is approx. 52.25". They were manufactured circa 1840 to 1860. The approx. 35.75" round barrel has a very good bore. The barrel and back action lock are unmarked. This example has some Nepalese markings on the front and rear trigger guard tangs. The stock is very good with no cracks or chips and light to moderate issue wear. The overall condition is very good with the metal being a smooth gray-brown. The swivels and ramrod are present. The action works perfectly. This is a nice example of a Brunswick type musket that is reasonably priced. (AL5485)
