Product Description
NSN, manufactured circa 1850s, chambered in .577 with a 33 1/2" round barrel. Metal surfaces show a smooth grey patina with light surface oxidation present. The barrel bears markings that roughly translate to "In the year J/28." Brass trigger guard and nose cap exhibit a pleasing, aged patina. The stock has been refurbished and is smooth overall, with light handling impressions visible. Action holds at both half and full cock. A solid example of a Nepalese-used Pattern 1853 rifle.
