Product Description
NSN, circa 18th/19th century, chambered in .65 caliber, with a 32 3/4" octagonal Damascus barrel, secured by seven-barrel bands. Silver damascening is visible at the breech and swamped muzzle. A silver-plated brass sheet with arabesque engraving is inlaid just behind the rear sight. The stock is heavily decorated with brass wheel-shaped patterns, though many are missing. Wood shows expected handling and usage wear, with loss noted along the cleaning rod channel. The rear of the stock is missing a silver band and has a chip at the lower right corner. Action functions correctly. A well-worn but character-rich example of an Ottoman Tufek musket. (AL5416)
