No Serial Number, circa 18th century, chambered in .58 caliber with a 42 1/2" round barrel featuring a flared muzzle. Barrel is secured with nine brass barrel bands. Metal surfaces show a dark brown patina with oxidation visible throughout. Stock shows heavy distress, with edge loss noted. Buttstock features ivory inlays, though some areas are incomplete or missing. Trigger guard is wire-wrapped at the rear for reinforcement. Action is not functional. This distinctive style is indigenous to the Little Atlas Mountain region of southern Morocco, known for its unique and regional firearm designs. (AL10260)
