The J. P. Sauer & Sohn Standard Replacement Barrel for the Sauer 404 is a premium factory-original modular barrel chambered in the globally trusted .308 Winchester caliber. Cold hammer-forged at their advanced manufacturing facility in Germany, this 560mm (22") barrel features a standard 17mm contour taper designed to blend fast-handling portability with exceptional sub-MOA precision. This New Old Stock (NOS) factory part comes equipped with a metric M15x1 muzzle thread, allowing for the seamless attachment of sound moderators, muzzle brakes, or flash hiders. Purpose-built for the Sauer 404 modular take-down chassis, it features an integrated six-lug locking recess that ensures the bolt locks directly inside the breech ring. This system delivers extreme repeatable consistency and a perfect return-to-zero whenever the barrel is detached or swapped using the onboard Sauer Universal Key (SUS) tool, making it an ideal choice for hunters optimizing their setup for medium to large game.
