The Penn Fathom Electric Conventional Reel cuts down on cranking during deep drops for tilefish, grouper, and snapper. This saltwater electric reel uses a 12V system with an integrated battery compartment that accepts a replaceable lithium-ion battery for cordless operation. Adjust the variable speed knob to control retrieval as you bring bottom rigs back to the boat, and activate autostop for hands-free retrieval to your preset stopping point. An LED display shows the digital line counter, and programmable line diameter settings help match line measurements to your spooled line. The line guide gives knots and swivels room to pass, while the spool tension knob helps prevent overruns when you drop bait in freespool. IPX6 sealing protects the motor and battery compartments, and a button engages the backup handle for manual cranking. This listing includes one reel only. The battery and charger require separate purchase. 12V system accepts an onboard lithium-ion battery Adjustable retrieve speed with hands-free autostop LED line counter uses programmable line diameter settings Line guide provides clearance for knots and swivels IPX6 sealing protects motor and battery compartments Spool tension knob prevents overruns when reel is in freespool Push-button backup handle enables manual retrieval Includes one reel only, battery and charger require separate purchase Manufacturer's one-year limited warranty
