The Lamson Speedster Fly Rod gives fly anglers a versatile 9-foot platform for trout, bass, steelhead, and salmon fishing across rivers, streams, and lakes. Its four-piece construction packs easily for travel, while the Lockdown reel seat and carbon fiber insert create a secure, refined connection for the reel. Lamson offers a modified Ritz grip on 5- and 6-weight models, while select 6-weight rods plus the 7- and 8-weight options use a full-wells grip with a fighting butt for added leverage when casting larger flies or controlling stronger fish. A cork-and-composite grip blend supports comfortable handling, while the SiC insert stripper guide manages line through repeated casts. The matte graphite finish with gold accents gives the rod a clean look, and the included Cordura case with internal dividers protects each section during transport.9-foot four-piece construction packs easily for travelModified Ritz grip offered on 5- and 6-weight modelsFull-wells grip with fighting butt offered on select 6-, 7-, and 8-weightsCork and cork-composite blend provides a comfortable gripLockdown reel seat keeps the reel securely positionedCarbon fiber insert adds a refined reel-seat finishSiC insert stripper guide supports smooth line managementDivided Cordura case protects rod sections in transitManufacturer's limited lifetime warranty
