The Lamson Cobalt Fly Rod gives saltwater fly anglers the speed and power to drive casts into the wind and present flies to bonefish, permit, tarpon, and giant trevally. Its 9-foot, four-piece configuration uses a hyper-fast blank that responds quickly during aggressive casting strokes and demanding saltwater presentations. The Lockdown reel seat secures virtually any reel on machined aluminum rails for a stable connection during hard fights, while the lighter 6- and 7-weight models also make capable streamer rods for trout and bass in freshwater. Each rod includes a sturdy Cordura case with internal dividers that separate and protect the rod sections during travel.
