The Lamson Purist II Fly Reel gives trout and panfish anglers a lightweight, responsive option for dry-fly fishing, delicate presentations, and other light-line tactics on streams, rivers, and lakes. Its ultra-large arbor format supports quick line pickup, while the super-narrow profile keeps the reel compact and streamlined on the rod. A click-and-pawl drag provides simple, direct line control for anglers who prefer a traditional fly reel feel. Lamson fully CNC machines the frame and spool for precise construction, and the exceptionally light overall format pairs naturally with lightweight fly rods for chasing brook trout, rainbows, browns, and warmwater panfish.
