The Lamson Speedster S-Series HD Fly Reel gives fly anglers rapid line recovery and confident drag control when trout, bass, salmon, and steelhead turn a solid hookup into a hard run. Its super-arbor format picks up line quickly and helps reduce line memory, making it well suited for staying tight to fish that charge toward the boat or change direction in current. Lamson fully CNC machines the frame and spool from 6061 aluminum, while stainless steel components add strength in key areas. A sealed conical drag delivers smooth resistance throughout the fight, and the Type II anodized finish adds durable exterior protection for regular use on rivers, lakes, and other fly-fishing waters.
