Threaded Barrel, 8+1, Black Frame/Damascus Slide, Pistol The Cabot Damascus Bedside 1911 is a full size Government 1911 in .45 ACP that pairs a black billet stainless frame with a Damasteel stainless Damascus slide in Cabot's exclusive Ladder pattern. It is built in Cabot, Pennsylvania, to the same tolerances as Cabot's most celebrated pistols, and it is made to be both the gun you keep by the bed and the gun you are proud to show. The frame is machined from American billet 416 stainless steel, treated with Cabot's proprietary hardening process and finished in black. An integral tactical rail is machined into the dust cover, so a weapon light mounts directly to the frame for home defense duty. The front strap carries rhombus cut 24 LPI checkering and the mainspring housing is rhombus cut checkered to match, giving a secure, consistent grip without being harsh in the hand. The slide is Damasteel stainless Damascus in Cabot's exclusive Ladder pattern. It is finished in traditional matte stainless, then given Cabot's proprietary etching and high contrast treatment to bring the pattern forward. Cabot Damascus Ladder rear slide serrations echo the pattern, and the ejection port is lowered and flared for clean, reliable ejection. Every part is produced with CNC machining, EDM wire, EDM sink and CNC surface grinding for the precise fit Cabot is known for. The 5 in. crowned barrel is threaded and rides in a Cabot barrel bushing and feeds over a polished feed ramp. Up top is a white dot front sight and a Cabot fixed rear sight. The aluminum TriStar trigger has no radius, giving a flat, consistent face for your finger. Controls are billet: a right hand thumb safety and a beavertail grip safety, both machined from billet for strength and a precise fit. The magwell is beveled for smooth reloads, and the grip is dressed in Cabot Ebony Fibonacci grips whose spiral pattern sets off the Damascus slide. The pistol ships with two 8 round Cabot magazines, an owner's manual, a Cabot barrel bushing wrench and a child resistant gun lock, and the threaded barrel is included for use with a compatible muzzle device or suppressor.
