What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"I took these into a big mountain zone with cliff bands and wind affected snow, and they stayed rock solid the entire descent. The extra weight underfoot smoothed out every landing and rough patch, and I never once felt like the ski was overwhelmed by the terrain."There's a certain kind of terrain that punishes hesitation, cliff bands, wind affected snow, lines where turning feels like the riskier option, and the Revolt 114 Skis exist for exactly that. We point them into the steep and let momentum carry us, trusting the extra mass underfoot to soak up landings and hold a line through chop that would rattle a lighter ski. This isn't a ski that asks permission, it's one that rewards commitment. That stability comes from serious construction. Tuff Box Construction and a beech and poplar woodcore add the heft and dampening needed to stay composed at speed, while the 3D Radius Sidecut lets us hold long, confident arcs through open faces and still snap into tighter turns when a line demands it. A DS2000 base with shiny structure keeps glide fast even in variable snow, and full sidewalls transmit every ounce of power straight to the edge.
