The Volkl Mantra 102 Ski comes matched with the Marker Jester 16 ID Binding and K2 Recon 130 BOA Boot, three components built to stay composed when the terrain gets steep and technical. The Mantra 102's full Titanal Frame and carbon tips hold an edge through crud and wind-buffed bowls without losing composure at speed, and the Recon 130's very stiff flex and BOA Fit System transmit every input directly to that edge. The Jester's 16 DIN and low stand height keep the whole setup locked down, so nothing backs off when the line gets real. What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"I dropped into a line steep enough to make me second-guess it, and every part of this setup held exactly where I put it. Nothing felt like it was working harder than the rest to keep up."
