TacFire Linear Compensator Features The TacFire Linear Compensator is engineered to redirect muzzle blast and concussion forward and away from the shooter a design feature that is especially valuable on AK pistol builds and rifles with shortened barrels where concussion is amplified close to the shooter s position. Six vent ports are strategically placed to channel blast forward rather than to the sides reducing the disruptive effect felt by the shooter and nearby teammates. Knurled spiral lightening flutes run along the body cutting unnecessary weight while adding a distinctive grippy texture for installation. The device is precisely notched to lock securely in place against the detent found on the front sight block ensuring consistent alignment and preventing rotation under recoil. Constructed from steel and finished in black the TacFire Linear Compensator is built to withstand the heat and pressure generated by repeated firing. At an overall length of 2.25 and an outer diameter of 1.13 it adds minimal bulk to the muzzle end of the rifle. Threaded 14x1 left-hand to match the AK platform s reverse thread pattern this compensator installs directly onto compatible 7.62x39 rifles and pistols. Weighing just 5.7 oz this American-made compensator is a lightweight functional upgrade for AK-platform shooters looking to tame blast and concussion.
