TacFire Linear Compensator Features The TacFire Linear Compensator is designed to redirect muzzle blast and concussion forward and away from the shooter rather than letting it dissipate to the sides a configuration especially useful on indoor ranges hunting camps or anywhere bystanders are present. Six vent ports are machined into the device to channel that blast efficiently downrange reducing the perceived concussion felt by the shooter and anyone standing nearby. Built from steel the compensator is designed to handle the heat and pressure of repeated .308 fire without degrading over time. The 5/8x24 thread pitch matches the common standard for .308 caliber rifles making installation straightforward on most threaded barrels. At just 2.26 in overall length and 0.87 in outer diameter the TacFire Linear Compensator adds minimal length and bulk to the end of a barrel while still delivering its sound-redirecting function. Weighing only 3.5 oz it has little impact on the rifle s balance or handling characteristics. Finished in Black and made in the USA this compensator is a straightforward upgrade for shooters looking to manage blast direction on their .308 rifle. The TacFire Linear Compensator is available for sale at GrabAGun for shooters who want to redirect concussion away from themselves and those around them.
