SOG Specialty Knives Adventurer Features The SOG Adventurer uses a classic lock-back mechanism the same dependable design generations of knife users have trusted for its lightweight simplicity and reliability. The lock-back provides a solid lockup that prevents the blade from accidentally closing during use or unexpectedly opening while carried in a pocket. SOG s updated design features a Ti-Ni coated Cryo hardened 5Cr15MoV blade that combines the corrosion and stain resistance of stainless steel with moderate toughness for good edge retention and ease of sharpening. The 3 inch drop point blade shape is versatile enough for everyday cutting tasks from opening packages to light outdoor work. The handle is built from glass-reinforced nylon a material chosen for its combination of light weight and real strength and it is textured to maintain a secure grip even in demanding conditions. At 7.5 inches overall length and just 2.1 ounces the Adventurer carries easily in a pocket without adding noticeable weight to a daily loadout. A versatile ambidextrous deep carry pocket clip lets both right and left handed users carry the knife comfortably and securely. For an affordable dependable everyday carry folder the SOG Adventurer with its lock-back design and Cryo hardened blade is available for sale at GrabAGun.
