Ruffs Precision Diving Board Rail Cap Features The Ruffs Precision Diving Board Rail Cap replaces the standard cap on existing RPM CLR series rings and Bravo or Delta cantilever mounts instantly adding a rail platform for a secondary optic or rangefinder. Because it is a simple cap swap rather than a full mount replacement installation uses the exact same screws included with the original RPM product so no additional hardware is needed. Machined from aluminum and finished in black the cap is built to the same meticulous standard as the rest of the Ruffs Precision lineup keeping it compact and lightweight. At a low ring height the cap sits close to the primary optic without crowding the shooter s cheek weld. Compatibility is the whole point of this accessory letting shooters add a laser rangefinder or a secondary aiming device like a red dot to a magnified riflescope setup already in use. This approach keeps a long range precision rifle adaptable for different engagement distances without committing to a dedicated offset mount system. At 4.9 inches in length and weighing just 0.12 pounds the rail cap barely changes the balance or profile of the rifle. Shooters running an RPM ring or cantilever system who want faster target transitions between distances will find this cap a practical purpose built addition.
