Midwest Industries SP Series Handguard Features The Midwest Industries SP Series handguard measures 18 inches and is built with an inside diameter of 1.75 inches giving it the clearance needed to accommodate suppressors and larger profile barrels without binding. The outside diameter of 2.0 inches narrowing to 1.95 inches over the mounting flats keeps the handguard slim and comfortable to grip despite its generous internal clearance. A high quality MIL-STD 1913 top rail runs the length of the handguard providing a continuous reliable mounting surface for optics iron sights or other top-mounted accessories. Constructed from 6061 aluminum with a hard coat anodized finish the handguard resists wear and corrosion while keeping overall weight down at just 16 ounces. One five slot Magpul M-LOK polymer rail section is included giving builders an immediate mounting point for a light laser or angled foregrip without purchasing additional accessories. A barrel nut and barrel nut wrench are included in the package simplifying installation onto a compatible AR-15 upper receiver. Made in the USA the SP Series reflects a commitment to domestic manufacturing and quality control throughout production. For AR-15 builders looking for a lightweight suppressor compatible handguard with a dependable top rail and included mounting hardware the Midwest Industries SP Series 18 inch handguard is a strong choice available at GrabAGun.
