Product Description
Midwest Industries Muzzle Device Collar Features The Midwest Industries Muzzle Device Collar is engineered specifically to convert the tapered barrel profile found on Sig Sauer MCX .300 AAC Blackout models into a standard 90 degree shoulder. Many muzzle devices rely on a square shoulder to index properly and stay tight under recoil and the MCX s tapered factory barrel does not provide that surface on its own. By installing the collar owners gain the correct shoulder geometry needed for compensators flash hiders and suppressor mounts to seat and function as intended. This makes the collar a practical first step before adding nearly any aftermarket muzzle device to the MCX platform. Built from 4140 steel the collar is strong enough to handle the stress and heat generated at the muzzle during repeated firing. A phosphate finish protects the steel from corrosion and wear over years of use. Manufactured in the USA the collar is produced to the tight tolerances needed for a precise secure fit on the MCX barrel. The Midwest Industries Muzzle Device Collar gives MCX owners a simple affordable way to unlock compatibility with standard muzzle devices.
