Midwest Industries Alpha Blast Diverter Features The Midwest Industries Alpha Blast Diverter is engineered to redirect muzzle blast forward away from the shooter s face and the position of anyone standing nearby. Constructed from 6061 aluminum with a steel endcap secured in place using Loctite this diverter is built to handle the repeated thermal and mechanical stress of firing without loosening over time. At 4.5 inches overall length with a 2.25 inch measurement from the back to the vent holes it is compact enough to add minimal length to a 9mm pistol or carbine. An outside diameter of 1.95 inches keeps the profile manageable for everyday carry or home defense configurations. Finished in a Nitride Black coating this diverter resists corrosion and wear while maintaining a low visibility appearance that matches most black pistols and carbines. Threaded for the common 1/2x28 pattern used on many 9mm hosts it installs directly without additional adapters. At just 9.8 ounces the added weight at the muzzle is minimal helping preserve the handling characteristics of the host firearm. Made in the USA this Midwest Industries Alpha Blast Diverter is available for sale at GrabAGun for shooters who want reduced blast concussion in a compact muzzle device.
