LEM Products Big Bite DualGrind Adapter Kit Features The LEM Products Big Bite DualGrind Adapter Kit is built exclusively to fit Big Bite grinders letting owners upgrade an existing machine instead of buying a second grinder for fine grinding work. The kit includes a DualGrind adapter ring a star bolt two grinding plates a DualGrind knife a DualGrind auger stud and a splined sleeve tool giving the user everything needed to convert a single pass into a two stage grind. Because the dual blade knife processes meat through both plates at once a 4.5mm fine grind comes out in the same single pass that would normally only produce a coarse grind. This saves real time on processing day since there is no need to stop swap plates and run the meat through the grinder a second time. Every component in the kit is built from stainless steel matching the quality and durability of LEM s Big Bite grinder line and standing up to repeated use during busy processing seasons. After use the adapter should be hand washed and dried completely before storage and LEM recommends a light coating of silicone spray or another food safe lubricant to keep the parts moving smoothly. Because only one teardown and cleaning is needed per session the kit also cuts down on maintenance time compared to running two separate grinding passes. For hunters and home processors who already own a Big Bite grinder this adapter kit is a straightforward way to add a finer grind option without the cost of a new machine.
