Kimber KDS9C Features The Kimber KDS9C uses a proprietary bore sizing process on its fluted crowned and threaded barrel to deliver match grade accuracy with every shot in 9mm. The optic ready serrated stainless steel slide finished in KimPro Black accepts a red dot sight for faster target acquisition while green fiber optic front and Novak dovetail rear sights provide a reliable backup sighting system should the optic ever go down. A 1:10 twist rate stabilizes a wide range of 9mm loads and the 1/2x28 threaded muzzle accepts a suppressor or compensator for recoil management on the range or in competition. The flat face trigger breaks between 3.5 and 4.5 lbs giving shooters a crisp predictable press that makes fast accurate follow up shots easier to control. The Flat Dark Earth 7075 aluminum frame features sculpted ergonomics with serrations wrapping around the front strap and grip panels improving purchase under recoil. Black crosshatch G10 grips add further texture for a secure hold in varying conditions whether drawing from concealment or running the gun in bad weather. A reversible magazine release and ambidextrous Picatinny rail accommodate both left and right handed shooters without modification so the pistol can be configured to the individual rather than forcing the shooter to adapt. The bobbed hammer and beavertail frame reduce snag points and improve hand placement keeping the grip high and consistent for better recoil control. Shipping with both 15 and 18 round magazines the KDS9C is a complete optics ready concealed carry package for shooters wanting Kimber s premium build quality in a pistol ready to carry straight out of the box.
