HSM/Hunting Shack Reloading Bullets Features The HSM/Hunting Shack Reloading Bullets .38-40 Cal are cast from hard lead to hold their shape through the loading process and on through the bore without excessive leading. The .401 inch diameter matches standard .38-40 caliber specifications giving handloaders a bullet that seats consistently and feeds reliably in lever guns and revolvers chambered for the round. At 180 grains the weight sits in line with traditional .38-40 loadings suited to both target practice and hunting applications. The Lead Round Nose Flat Point shape is a time-tested profile that feeds smoothly through tubular magazines while still offering a flat meplat for solid impact performance. These bullets are components for handloading only and are not loaded ready-to-fire ammunition so a reloader supplies their own cases primers and powder to complete a cartridge. Packaged 250 to a box the quantity suits reloaders who load in volume for range sessions or hunting trips without constantly restocking. Hard cast lead construction keeps cost down compared to jacketed projectiles while still delivering consistent accuracy for practical shooting. For handloaders working with .38-40 caliber firearms the HSM/Hunting Shack Reloading Bullets .38-40 Cal offer a dependable affordable option for the reloading bench.
