FightLite Industries MCR Mission Configurable Rifle Complete Upper Features The FightLite MCR Mission Configurable Rifle upper is built to accept any standard AR-15 or M16 magazine as well as M27 linked ammunition giving shooters the flexibility to run magazine-fed or belt-fed on the same lower receiver. Short-stroke gas piston operation keeps the action running reliably with the high round counts a belt-fed system demands while reducing the fouling that can build up in a direct impingement design. The 16.25 quick-change barrel is chambered in 5.56 NATO and can be swapped quickly in the field or at the bench without extensive tools. A Picatinny top rail runs the length of the receiver for mounting optics suited to sustained fire applications. This mil-spec MCR DFR model adds Dry Film Lubrication to critical high-friction surfaces a feature that improves performance in extreme heat cold or dirty conditions where standard lubricants can break down. The upper readily mounts to any mil-spec AR-15 lower receiver without permanent modification and FightLite designed it to remain compatible with AR-15 and M16 receivers manufactured as far back as 1963. Finished in black with an anodized coating the MCR resists wear from repeated handling and field use. Shipping with 100 M27 links included the FightLite MCR gives shooters everything needed to start running belt-fed ammunition on a familiar AR platform right away.
