An 11 degree target crown is cut into the muzzle of each barrel a detail that contributes to tighter shot groups by providing a clean symmetrical release of the bullet as it exits the bore. Every barrel is magnetic particle inspected and individually checked for headspace using precision custom hardened gauges before leaving the factory. Finished with a nitride coating both inside and outside the barrel this barrel resists corrosion and wear while improving the ease of cleaning compared to a standard chrome-lined or untreated barrel.
