Eley High Velocity Features Eley High Velocity .22 LR ammunition is built around a 38 grain lead hollow point bullet designed to expand reliably on small game and vermin at typical rimfire ranges. Eley s manufacturing process targets greater internal ballistic consistency from round to round which keeps point of impact predictable across a full box. A paraffin wax lubricant coats each cartridge helping the rounds cycle smoothly through semi-automatic rimfire actions even in cold or wet field conditions. This high-velocity loading pushes the bullet out at roughly 1250 feet per second giving the shooter a flatter trajectory than standard velocity rimfire ammunition. Each box holds 50 rounds giving small game hunters and pest control shooters a practical supply for a day in the field without constant reloading. The hollow point design is purpose built for small game and vermin work expanding to deliver quick humane results on varmints and similar pests. Consistent ballistics from Eley s manufacturing process help shooters make precise shots at the ranges small game hunting typically demands.
