DPMS DR-10 Features The DPMS DR-10 is built around a chrome moly vanadium barrel chambered in .308 Win with a 1-in-10 twist rate suited to a wide range of .308 bullet weights. A mid-length direct impingement gas system cycles the action off an A2 flash hider at the muzzle and the barrel itself carries a threaded 16-inch length for compatibility with muzzle devices. The DPMS Panther Polished Trigger gives the shooter a clean repeatable break and the internal hammer firing system is built around the same proven AR-pattern operating system used across the DPMS lineup. The mid-length gas system in particular strikes a balance between reliable cycling and softer recoil impulse compared to a carbine-length system which matters over a long day of shooting a .308-caliber rifle. The 7075-T6 aluminum receiver is paired with a DPMS 15 M-LOK free-float rail giving the shooter room to mount optics lights and other accessories without touching the barrel itself which helps preserve accuracy since nothing attached to the rail contacts the free-floated barrel. A B5 Bravo stock gives the rifle an adjustable length of pull letting shooters of different statures or wearing different levels of gear dial in a consistent cheek weld and sight picture. The Panther Custom overmolded grip adds a secure comfortable hold during extended range sessions reducing hand fatigue across repeated strings of fire. The black finish keeps the rifle s exterior consistent and low maintenance standing up to the wear of range use and field carry alike. With a 20-round magazine capacity the DPMS DR-10 is available for sale at GrabAGun for shooters looking for a semi-auto .308 rifle for hunting home defense or the range.
